I asked Joleen Rice if I could slick back her hair in a tight ponytail like a teen gymnast or like the girls in Robert Palmer's Simply Irresistible music video from the 80s. Supposedly, the styling of those divas was inspired from the artwork or Patrick Nagel. And I'm sure he was inspired by something before him. So it goes with the cannibalistic nature of art. Joleen was down and rocked the look, applying her own makeup.
